Dr Judith Dowds qualified from University of Dundee with the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. Following the successful completion of her 1 year vocational training post in West Yorkshire, she returned to her home city of Glasgow where she worked for 5 years in a long established family practice.
For over 50 years our award winning practice has looked after the dental health of thousands of satisfied patients from across Cambridgeshire and the East of England. Our preventative approach helps you to keep your teeth and gums healthy for the long term. We strongly believe in minimally invasive dentistry and have invested heavily in the latest equipment to ensure that we continue to provide clinical excellence for all of our patients. Our team of highly experienced dentists, hygienists and dental nurses go the extra mile to ensure safe treatment in a relaxed environment.
Cavendish House is a long established Centre of Excellence for dental implantology. Our two highly respected implantologists, Dr Stuart Ellis and and Richard Millhouse, are international lecturers in the field and each have over 20 years of clinical experience. We have our own on-site digital CBCT scanner to provide us with instantly available 3D scans.
Facial Rejuvenation refers to non-surgical treatments that help to reduce the visible signs of facial ageing. Non-surgical injection therapies using muscle relaxants (Botulinum Type A) and dermal fillers (Juverderm or Restylane) can reduce the appearance of wrinkles. At Cavendish House consultations are provided by Dr Casey Prawiradiraja who is a fully qualified dental surgeon with a special interest in non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments.

Our son (aged 16) was coming to the end of his orthodontic treatment at Anglia Orthodontics. He needed to have a bridge fitted and other dental work. We asked our Orthodontist for a recommendation for a dentist who would compliment the excellent work already done and so Dr Richard Millhouse at Cavendish House, was highly recommended. After our first consultation with Dr Millhouse, we knew that our son would receive the very best care.
We can say without exaggeration that Dr Millhouse and his assistant were wonderful. They were always thoroughly professional and extremely kind and helpful and did their very best to help and to encourage our son throughout his treatment. Nothing was too much trouble, they wanted to help and they wanted the best for us. Dr Millhouse was unquestionably exceptional.
He was highly professional and gave the best advice to help us achieve what we wanted, for our son. He gave us a treatment plan which he executed with the highest professionalism and expertise. At every appointment he was so very kind, he explained everything in detail. We never felt rushed and we were encouraged to ask as many questions as we felt we needed to ask.
The time and attention he gave to the treatment, even down to the minutiae, was outstanding. He worked so incredibly hard to help us achieve the best outcome for our son. As parents, you want the very best for your children and we feel that with Dr Millhouse, this is what we had. The care and the expertise he showed throughout the treatment was exceptional and he enabled us to achieve an outcome that was beyond anything we could have hoped for.
Prior to his treatment, our son, was always very self conscious of his teeth so much so that he only ever smiled with his mouth closed and he lacked in confidence. Now his treatment has ended and the results are truly amazing, he is flourishing, confident and can't stop smiling! We were so thrilled with the outcome for our son, that I cried at the end of his last appointment!
Even then, Dr Millhouse had great understanding and care, for a very tearful and appreciative mum. We are so full of gratitude that we cannot thank Dr Millhouse enough and without hesitation we highly recommend Dr Millhouse and Cavendish House Dental Care! G & D
