We are a Family Dental Practice & Specialist Referral Centre located in Hitchin in Hertfordshire. We provide a full range of treatments for all age groups, from routine examinations and simple fillings to complex reconstructions. We offer high quality dental care both to our own patients and to those referred from colleagues for specialist treatments.
Services
Fees for treatment are based on estimated length of time needed. Average fees are listed below though if additional time is needed for complex treatments a further charge will be made. A full estimate will be given to the patient at their consultation visit. NB - These charges apply to those patients who have been referred to us by their own dentist or for patients who wish to self-refer. A list can be provided for patients of the practice, please contact us by phone or email.
Hitchin Dental Centre welcomes referrals for patients needing specialist treatment in Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics and Implantology. All treatment is carried out by experienced specialists registered on the Specialist Lists. We would appreciate as many details as you can provide and the loan of any relevant radiographs you may have.

I was made to feel super comfortable during the treatment and Daniel was superb and incredibly professional. The dental nurse also helped make me feel reassured throughout. Highly recommend.

Following a diagnosis of chronic periodontal disease, I embarked on a treatment plan with Dr Iro Palaska at Hitchen Dental Centre. The necessarily intense and sometimes uncomfortable treatment is made considerably more tolerable by the expert touch and skill of Iro and her team. The positivity of her approach encourages a disciple-like adherence to her instructions for home maintenance, making me feel I'm very much part of the team rather than just the patient. Periodontal treatment is never going to be a fun experience, but Iro gets you through it by being brilliant at it.

Paid 90 for a Private Consultation. Had to call three times requesting the report. When I asked for the x-rays to be emailed onto me, I was told I would have to pay another 30. Very disappointed. I had no trouble or extra cost receiving x-rays from another referral surgery. As they pointed out that's what you have already paid the Private Consultation fee for.
