At Apollo we aim to provide you with the highest standard of dental care appropriate to your circumstances. We provide dental care on a private basis, so we are not providing treatment according to a target quota as dictated by a care commissioning body - you receive recommendations for the care that you need and the treatment that is in your best interests.
We will work with you to provide care that meets your needs and wishes. We will explain options, where appropriate, and costs so that you can make an informed choice. We will always explain what we are proposing to do and tell you about any significant risks. We aim to provide dental care of a consistently good quality for all patients.
Apollo Dental Health Clinic Ltd is a practice of five Dentists and four Hygienists supported by a team of Dental Nurses, Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. The practice began in the 1920s on Southend High Street but eventually re-located to its current purpose-built premises in 1988. The practice is owned by the Principal Dentists and is not part of a corporate chain.
At Apollo Dental Health Clinic, we firmly believe in a prevention-based, family-orientated, dental service. Preventing dental disease saves discomfort and pain, is less costly than treatment to correct things that have gone wrong, and keeps teeth natural for a healthy looking smile. Regular examinations means that a problem can be detected early, meaning the treatment to correct it is usually very simple, sometimes only requiring advice on changes to diet and cleaning patterns.Prevention starts at a young age.

I booked an emergency appointment on Saturday morning for severe tooth pain from a broken tooth. Excellent service and surroundings. Jonathan lee and his assistant were top class and went above and beyond to make the extraction as comfortable as possible.
The whole experience from reception to treatment was excellent and would highly recommend apollo to anyone. Many thanks.

I was referred to Apollo dental by a friend to get some old failing metal fillings replaced. I was treated by Dr Sarah Shannon and her lovely nurses Megan and Maci. The whole experience was painless, relaxed and I am delighted with my new smile! The whole team was welcoming and I look forward to coming back for my check-up in 6 months time :

I had a tooth extraction done here today with Sarah. After several months of suffering with an infection and being too frightened to go to any dentist, Sarah made me feel extremely comfortable and explained the whole procedure to me. For someone who suffers with anxiety with dentists and needles, I was at ease the whole time and would definitely reccomend. Thank you to the whole team and especially Sarah.

Over the Bank Holiday weekend I devopled a painful tooth absess. I contacted Denplan who where unable to contact my dental surgery (it was a Sunday but expected some care from my own dentist of 20 plus years) They eventually contacted Apollo who agreed to treat me. Harry Brien contacted me himself and arranged to meet me at his surgery on Bank Holiday Sunday at 21.00!
I can't thank him enough for his care and consideration and I'm not even one of their patients. He gave me a detailed examination including an x ray and issued me with antibiotics Thank you very much Apollo and thank you Harry.

Diana Carradus 2 minutes ago I have been coming to Apollo for more than 15 years. I see Mary Brien for my check ups and have just started Invisalign with Harry Brien. I generally see Hannah as my hygienist. I cannot fault any of them. They are all professional but friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending them in all respects.
