Born in Nottingham and having practiced in various parts of the East Midlands, I am very excited about my move to join the Start Smiling team. I will be moving with my partner, Anna and our two cats, Duck and Goose and we plan to grow our family in the coming year! We have a keen passion for travelling and all things active, having been to places such as Uganda, Oman and Ecuador in the last few years, we love to experience the local food and culture in the places we travel.Outside of work, I like to keep busy with hobbies including climbing, diving and skiing.

Writing this review has been one of the most difficult things I've had to do in a long time, purely because no word count can do justice to the wonderful service, I have received from the Start Smiling team! Just over two years ago, I decided to make a life-changing decision to resolve the many issues with my teeth, and as fate would have it I ended up in the office of who I now firmly believe is the hands-down undisputed best Aesthetic dentist in the country. Dr. Tom Sealey.
From the very first consultation, Dr Tom was more interested in the long-term health of my teeth, and I was taken aback by his honesty and transparent approach, it was one of those life-changing conversations and one that quickly helped me make up my mind to commit to long term treatment, and resist the short term cosmetic fixes other practices were offering me.
The journey was long (and challenging thanks to the pandemic) and included wisdom teeth removal, fillings, dental hygiene appointments, metal braces, invisible aligners, and teeth whitening. However, the results were far beyond my expectations, and I now find myself with a set of healthy teeth that I am proud of. A huge thank you also to the great support network that I had access to in the form of the Start Smiling team (Gemma, Rhonda, Pam, and Alison to name but a few).

I am thrilled, in my early sixties, to have invested in a Smile Makeover with Dr Tom at Start Smiling! I discovered the practice when researching Aesthetic Dentistry Awards and the accolades won by this talented team galvanized me into action! My initial fear of being judged vain was allayed at the very first consultation, when I came away believing that beautiful teeth are not solely the privilege of the young!
From the outset, Dr Tom was confident he could achieve my perfect smile and in less than a year (and it would have been considerably less were it not for lockdown), he has delivered on his promise! The work required was greater than I expected but the process faster than I ever imagined! Each step of the treatment was carefully explained and all charges detailed in a clear and transparent quotation.
I felt safe, comfortable and pain-free at all times. Despite unexpected challenges along the way, Dr Tom remained calm, focused and driven in his pursuit for perfection! Absolutely fantastic experience going to see Tom and team. I have always disliked my teeth after having an accident and reconstruction when i was a teenager. 20 years later this was the best decision i have ever made. The attention to detail has been truly amazing and every single person in the practice makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Today was my final appointment after 12 months of work and i couldn't be happier. I work with children and families and now have the confidence to be smiling and talking without the need to try and hide my teeth.

I contacted Start Smiling in June, having lost a veneer on the first day of Lockdown in March, I was more than keen to get some help in rectifying this and replacing the other veneers I had. Following an informative Skype consultation with Tony I decided to book my face-to-face consultation with him. From the moment I first walked into this professional establishment I felt welcome and at ease, each member of staff I came into contact with had a friendly, welcoming face.
Following this consultation I decided to proceed with what was going to be quite a journey to regain my confidence in my smile. Due to being given medication when a baby the enamel on my front teeth, both top and bottom, never developed correctly. I had previously had the top teeth corrected with veneers, which were more than ready for replacement and I had always wanted something done about my lower teeth. Tony offered his advice and I went ahead.
Treatment started in July, I had 7 visits in total my final visit being the end of October. Each visit I was made to feel as comfortable as possible and even after a 4hour long appointment I left still knowing I had made the right choice and more than happy with how the treatment was going. I never left the practice looking anything but presentable, the temporary fitment provided when my old veneers were removed was nothing short of amazing. Procedures at each appointment were performed with care and everything was fully explained. Tony was always on hand with any concerns or queries I had, a mere e-mail away, he always responded the same day and put my mind at total ease.
Each time I visited the staff welcomed me by my name and with a happy, friendly demeanour - making me feel like their only patient. I will be staying with Tony and the Start Smiling gang for future dental check-ups and treatment, the hour-long drive there and back for me is more than worth it. I honestly cannot recommend Tony and the team highly enough. I can indeed "Start Smiling".

I contacted Start Smiling as I wanted to close the gaps on my teeth. From beginning to end the experience was professional, painless and the whole place had a real family vibe. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, my teeth are unbelievably better and look amazing! Special mention to Rhonda as she always went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and knew exactly what I was doing if I had any questions. Have recommended to friends who have also had the same treatments and they are just as happy! Only place to go if you want the perfect smile!

The entire team at Start Smiling, Ingatestone are outstanding! From entering and interacting with the staff at reception to my dentist (Dr Tony) - I couldn't have had a better experience! I was extremely nervous when I first went to have my braces put in but everyone at Start Smiling made me feel at ease, celebrated each little victory with me and were just extremely supportive and they were very patient and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns - I constantly felt in the best possible hands!
Even throughout Covid, they were in touch constantly and made sure I was okay and despite the delay due to lockdown, my braces still came off within the estimated timeframe! I cannot thank you all enough for the best experience and I would highly recommend Start Smiling, Ingatestone to all those who would like any dental treatment that they offer! xx

I honestly couldn't reccomend Dr Tony Aneiros and his team any higher. I have been having some work done since 2018 and for the entire time that I have been attending the practice my treatment has been excellent. It has always been calm and I haven't felt rushed like I have previously experienced at other dentists. Dr Aneiros really lived up to the 'pain free' claim that they make - I was comfortable throughout my treatments and he consistently explained everything in advance.
If I was a nervous patient I think this would definitely be the place to go! He also pays close attention to detail and I always felt that I was in the care of a perfectionist! I also didn't feel pressured like I have been at other dentists (where it felt like I was dealing with salesmen), and instead I have always felt that I was given honest advice which really does make a difference. I couldn't be happier with my treatment and I would happily recommend Dr Aneiros and the team I have been seeing to my family and friends!

Amazing! I've had my teeth cleaned by Alison for over 5 years now, she makes you feel so comfortable and goes through all the steps during the clean. Exceptional service and always gives good oral hygiene self care advice to keep your teeth clean in-between visits. Also, Dr Tom's knowledge and expertise is outstanding! I highly recommend Start Smiling for keeping your teeth in perfect condition.

As a very nervous patient I have had to have some extensive treatment but I cannot believe how relaxed and confident I now feel, no longer do I dread appointments. This is such a well qualified and up to date practice and every member of the team is so kind and supportive. I have just completed one of my twice a year hygienist appointments and their brand new system for cleaning was amazing, total comfort and superb results.
