One star for the dentist who is competent. So that been said, I've never in my life been so insulted. 5 weeks ago I called this practice as I was in need of a root canal. I asked about payment methods and was told a payment plan was an option. I can't afford 800 plus in a one of payment. Skip to today, I've already had a temporary filling and paid 67 and 63 for my treatment plan.
So here I am having had root canal, the receptionist places at me a debit card reader (without eye contact or acknowledgment) displaying 475! I say "I don't have that amount in my back account" she pulls away the reader turns to the left and says to herself "I didn't think you did" now to say I was stunned is correct. I could not believe it, given her obvious incompetence in her skillset, I'm not surprised.
Then cue her scrambling to find a solution (which none involve my input) she brings out a leaflet on finance. I decline as I was informed from day one a payment plan is on offer. Cue her college. She then makes me wait while she phones the manager. "why" I ask. no answer She instructs me to take a seat, for a few mins I wait. In a full waiting room Then she says I have to pay in full, if I can not they will involve debt collectors and withhold treatment.
Let's clarify here, at no point did I refuse to pay, they conceded that they failed to inform me of how dental treatments are paid for ie not a plan and deposit required. None of which I was informed of till after treatment. Then I was forced to sign a letter that they typed up in front of me, the letter informed me to pay within one week or the debt collector would be sent and treatment which I still needed would be withdrawn.
They told me to get friends and family to pay. Needless to say within an hour I had paid, and they were all apologies once the payment went through, before tho I was threatened with legal action even tho I never refused payment and paid 100 to a 475 bill. Avoid at all costs unless you want teeth whitened and can pay for it there n then. What kind of practice threatens debt collectors when you've paid a quarter of the debt and at no point refused to pay. An absolute disgrace of a practice, unless you're rich. P

Not a single fault. Amazing and professional staff, especially Dr. Soriella who is incredibly patient, kind and understanding. I finally got a painful and infected tooth extracted after many issues with trying to find an NHS dentist. Yes, it's not cheap. But if you can save up the money, it's well worth it to be finally out of pain and handled with so much kindness and patience by the entire staff. They even stayed 2 hours past closing time so I could have my treatment.

This was a new patient exam after having not been to the dentist in 20+ years (due to anxiety) but I was greeted warmly by everyone from reception through to the dentist and nurse. During the appointment, the dentist took a lot of care and was incredibly reassuring. I am so glad I have registered here!

I have been using this place when it was under previous ownership. I was told he retired few months ago. I noticed the standard of service has dropped under the new owners. Toilet area wasn't clean. In general Not a friendly staffs or atmosphere at all. I felt the way the Hygienist spoke to me was rude as well. I don't go to a dentist so they can speak down to me.
I have asked & booked for the type of cleaning I wanted for my teeth. But the hygienist decided to change it to a basic. No hangers for clothes. They put a big plastic box on the floor for the clients to drop their coats & belongings in that box. Very poor & basic standard for a private practice. I think they should reduce their charges to match the standard of service offered.

Going to the dentist is never fun but at Beechwood I feel comfortable and confident with the professionalism and friendliness of the hygienist, the dentist and the receptionist. I never get the impression of upselling and have the impression they have my best interests at heart. Very happy with Beechwood.

I called up asking for an appointment but the lady at the reception was soo rude on the phone. I asked for some information as I've never been there before and she was not helpful one bit. If I could do a 0 star then I would. No customer should have been treated the way she spoke to me. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

The dentist saw me on time, very polite, super professional, he literally checked every single tooth and made notes for each of them on his file to keep as a record! I loved it! Took X-rays scans as well. Prices stated on website, so there isn't any confusion in the end. I'm going back for a hygienist appointment!

I was very nervous to begin with, but very quickly put at ease knowing the hygienist procedure I was recommended (AirFlow) was said to be relatively pain free. Kayley and assistant were very calm, reassuring and supportive throughout! Very happy with the experience today and look forward to returning soon! Overall a great experience, and a lovely team of people, from Dr. Inman to Sue the receptionist, who recommended procedures for me and explained to me very clearly. Prices are also very clearly set out which makes dental costs seem less daunting!

This is by far the best practice in the area. The staff were wonderfully warm and friendly and really went out of their way to be sweet and kind to my son who was a bit nervous to begin with. I was really taken aback by their child centred attitude, the friendliness of the staff and the welcoming environment. We left with beaming smiles and grateful to have joined their practice. Thank you!
