My Dentist referred me to Simon Ellis for specialist treatment, I was sceptical at first, however It soon became apparent that it was good advice, I have now had a range of treatments and at all times Simon explained the process and procedures enabling a full understanding of the treatment. His strive for perfection is impressive even with the smallest detail, I have no problem recommending South Coast Dental to my friends and family, From the Receptionist, Dental Assistants to the Practitioners they are all friendly and considerate. I had three extractions and implants and a bone graft for one of these. What could have been a traumatic experience was not! Fernando G E. carried out my treatment, in a very professional and careful manner. I did not experience any pain. One year on, all are sound and have not caused me any problems. The support staff and the receptionists are excellent too. Thank you all.

My treatment stretched over quite a long time but this was fully explained and adhered to in a long-term plan from the beginning and over the several months I was under Simon Ellis' expert and professional care. I knew what was going to happen throughout my treatment, the timing of the appointments, the monetary costs involved and was monitored exceptionally well from beginning to end by Simon and his professional and caring team.

If I felt anxious at all, this was immediately quelled by Simon and I felt completely reassured. At no point was I left feeling I either didn't know or understand how my treatment was progressing. I have now reached the goal set and am thrilled that I can speak, eat and SMILE at last without any embarrassment to both me and those around me. Having previously had an implant fitted, I decided that South Coast was the best placed for a root canal treatment with a post fitted for a crown. Octavian explained the procedure and how it would be carried out, even explaining the microscope and how it helped him. The whole experience was excellent: both Octavian and his nurse, along with all the rest of the staff were brilliant and put me completely at ease. I would not hesitate to comer back again.

My wife has had amazing treatment at South Coast Dental. She has had the best treatment ever from Fernando for implants and bone grafts. he is kind and patient and very professional. I would definitely highly recommend him and his team. Beverly the hygienist is the best hygienist she has ever had, and takes time and trouble each appointment. She is a nervous patient and feels reassured by the way they treat her and the success of all of her treatments.

A previous consultation at another practice had left me emotionally traumatised and it took me a couple of years to seek another consultation at a different practice for the implants I needed. From the moment I entered the South Coast premises in Dorchester I knew I would be in safe hands. Both Naveed and David explained everything clearly, were personable and professional and always made me feel at ease. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Fernando made me feel at ease with my recent gum graft procedure so I can get an implant in a few months and I am a very nervous dental patient! Everything was explained in full. All staff very pleasant, kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

All I wanted for Christmas was my 'two front teeth' and Simon Ellis and his amazing team certainly did that! The whole process took roughly a year and I felt really looked after by the whole team. I was referred to the practice from my usual dentist for a root canal treatment, I ended up blowing up the old filling & half the tooth a few weeks before the appointment so it made the repair work more complex. Octavian took the extra work in his stride and when I left with a root canal and a rebuilt tooth I feel like I could smile again. He took the time to explain the work and differences in root canal structures.

I had two nurses (one for the consultation & one for the repair work) both Jenny & Gail were great with their bedside manner. Having your jaw open for over an hour and having updates on how it was going was really assuring. Yes of course it was stupidly expensive - but as someone who's been through the ringer with dentists it was worth it.

I had root canal treatment from Octavian. The treatment was all carefully and professionally explained throughout. The whole experience was totally pain free.a relief as I am a pathetically nervous patient. Faultless if a little expensive. Nevertheless I would recommend wholeheartedly.

It took five months from start to finish.but I got my new tooth just in time for Christmas! And it looks lovely ( well: as lovely as the rest!) It was all totally efficient, comfortable, covid careful, and rather expensive. but I knew that. The most impressive thing was the dentist ensuring that the end result was "perfect" for me - which it was. On a more minor note, but useful.parking was good too;-)

We cannot fault the patience and expertise of your consultant Simon Ellis, and thank him for being in for the long haul with my mother Gwen McKell-Davies. We wish you all a very peaceful Christmas with your family. Next year, hopefully will see mummy smiling broadly, out and about with her wonderful, natural set of dentures. Lets hope we are all smiling next year!

I came to South Coast Dental after having my front tooth removed earlier in the year and an unsuccessful bridge. I wished to have an implant and Fernando explained in great detail the procedure and time line. He is kind, friendly, gentle and very professional. The whole procedure was totally painless. The reception and nursing staff were all very welcoming and efficient. Implant has now been in place for a year and has been a big success.

I was referred to Fernando with an advanced gum disease by my dentist. During my first visit, I was clearly and honestly explained the severity of the situation as well as the different treatments and options available. Bearing in mind I was pretty upset by the news, Fernando treated me with utter respect and sensibility and followed up via email with a summary of that discussed in our visit.

I felt I was in very good hands so I agreed to start treatment straight away. Unfortunately my next 2 appointments were rescheduled and one of them was a bit difficult to accommodate. Fernando went far and beyond to ensure I was able to attend the visit at a more suitable time - which I know this was difficult for him - Thank you so much. It has only been about 1 week since the treatment has completed but I can already see my gums looking a lot healthier. As an extra bonus - I always get to listen to very nice relaxing music during the treatments - Excellent Experience!
