We're Hook Dental and while most people think dentists are all about teeth, we believe what we do is all about people. We treat adult patients privately and provide NHS dental care to children and young people under 18 years old. Your visit to the dentist should be something beneficial, not something scary - but we understand that you or your children may be anxious. That's why our caring dentists take time to discuss your treatment so that you can make informed decisions about the dental care you receive.
Services
As we're in the 'smiles business' you'd expect Hook Dental to have a happy, friendly, smiling team of professionals - and we do! We're proud of the team for their experience, the quality of their work, and their commitment to making sure that you are greeted - and treated - in a welcoming and professional manner.
If you are considering joining Hook Dental as a new patient, we sincerely look forward to meeting you and your family. Our new patient appointments are unhurried, as we like to allow plenty of time - around 40 minutes - to get to know you, give your mouth a thorough examination and understand how we can help you achieve better dental health.
If you are a new patient, please join us for an introductory appointment where we can just talk and get to know each other. We are a private dentist who provides many different treatments including adult braces and specialist gum care in and around Bramley, Fleet and Hampshire. You are welcome to have a look around, find out about our approach and get a feel for our practice without the worry of having an examination - or even sitting in the dental chair if you don't want to.Children are very special patients.
It's easy to take healthy teeth for granted and forget how important they are to our everyday lives. Not only are our teeth essential to a great smile, they also help us bite and chew our food; and help us pronounce words. When we don't look after our teeth we are vulnerable to the pain and discomfort of decay, leading to additional and sometimes costly dental work.

A warning: On two separate occasions I have been told that I would need to spend a considerable amount of money for various treatments. The first was when I had a root cannel infection. The dentist informed me that he couldn't locate the cannel (although he said I had an infection in it) and he didn't have the appropriate specialised x-ray equipment to locate the cannel.
I would therefore be required to go to another dentist and spend 800 to use his specialised x-ray. I thought this was very strange. In the meantime he gave me antibiotics and low and behold the problem was solved saving me 800! The second time was when I needed to be fitted for a denture. I was informed because of my 'bite' I would not be suitable, and therefore the only option available would be an implant and bridge at a cost of 4500.
I decided to obtain a second opinion, no mention was mentioned about any problems relating to me being able to wear a denture and I was duly measured for one. Although I have no problems with the level of care, what does concern me that although I am an NHS patient they are promoting extremely expensive treatments.

Absolutely brilliant! I had braces fitted this year and just had them taken off. The results were incredible, way beyond what I imagined. The whole experience was great, Gareth explained everything to me clearly and I always knew what was going to happen and what was coming up. I was genuinely 50/50 about having them but I am so pleased I did. I would recommend it to anyone who has wonky or crowded teeth. You will not regret it!

I highly recommend this dental surgery. I have been on their books over 30 years. It seems to get better and better. I recently had an appointment and realized its even topped the time before that. The dentist. The Staff. You wont get better. Trust me. You know, every time I leave the surgery, I think, I could not have been more looked after. Bless you all.

I am having things done to my teeth at the moment. I'm seeing Christine the hygienest all I can do is praise her, I'm a very scared/nervous patient. she is so calming and let's you do things in your own time. My densit is called Nick I haven't seen him a lot but he is so kind and he makes all your worries go out the window with his jokes and caring personality. If you need a good densit do come here, it's a must!
