I should have done this review months and months ago. Apologies I have been coming to West Terrace Dental Practice for quite a few years now after my previous dentist retired. All the staff are very friendly and the practice felt up to date and very clean. I knew that there was a bit of work/ improvement to be done and a friend recommended me to Toby.

I was instantly made to feel at ease with his friendly and professional approach along with a good understanding of what my journey would be going forward. After a few repairs and a replacement crown I knew that there was a big job that needed to be addressed but not until my teeth were the healthiest they could be! After some hygienist appointments and some very particular cleaning methods and attention to detail I was able to have an implant after a tooth had died and had to be removed.

I was devastated to have a tooth removed but with Toby taking care of my oral health I was introduced to Greg to start the journey of a brand new shiny tooth! It took a few months and every stage was so thorough, careful and calm it wasn't a bother at all. I am absolutely delighted with the result and can't thank the whole team enough! You really are the BEST around! Thank you!

I visited this practice on recommendation from a friend. First impressions, friendliness, calmness and cleanliness. From childhood I had issues with my teeth, as I grew older it seemed the only way was to have the teeth I had left removed, and a complete set of teeth made. I had not come to this decision lightly, I'd had numerous badly fitting partial plates. Frightened to eat, talk even smile because they'd bounce up and down nearly choking me. Toby refused total extraction convincing me there was still life in my own teeth. WOW.what can I say except Best Christmas present ever! He fitted a new partial denture and I have been able to wear them in comfort and without fear. Thank you so much.

West Terrace are brilliant. It only took one bad childhood dental experience to give me a fear of dentists well into adulthood. 5 years with Toby and Charlotte and my teeth have never been better and I am no longer filled with dread before I visit, hurrah! I have not needed any fillings either, compared to my previous fill-happy dental practice. Wouldn't trust anyone else now

Really excellent in every way - the staff are all friendly and efficient and the waiting room is very pleasant. Toby is a superb dentist, the best I've ever come across. I travel from Brighton for my appointments, and it's well worth the trip. Recommended unreservedly.

I've been a Denplan patient for a few years now and have enjoyed hassle free service and a very high standard of dentistry but only recently really put it to a proper test as I had bad toothache on one of my impacted wisdom teeth and as I was travelling away to the Far East in only 4 days time I really needed it sorted plus I didn't have a lot of availability due to a very busy work schedule. Anyway, after a simple discussion with the excellent and very understanding receptionist I was booked in to see the hygienist later in the same day after work. Thankfully the hygienist was able to thoroughly clean the tooth and remove the food debris from deep within my gum and within a couple of days in felt perfect again!

This practice has far exceeded my expectations which isn't easy as I know I'm one of the more demanding patients. Thank you and see you soon. For anyone reading this that wants to be treated well with something that none of us really like this is the practise for you;

A bright, modern, well equipped practice with extremely helpful and professional staff. We have been at the practice for almost 20 years. I have recommended them to many colleagues and friends. I have undergone a number of procedures, crowns, root canal treatment and implants. They have excellent colleagues in specialist fields, very reassuring. I have attended this dental practise for many many years, the practise layout and all the surgeries are bright and contemporary. You can be confident that you are receiving the best and most up to date treatment that's available. All the staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and will do that bit extra to meet your treatment needs.

I've never thought about going anywhere else since joining the practice around 20 years ago. The practice is always professional, offers advice if needed and having had lots of treatments there I've never had any issues or pain during these. The professionalism if all staff is exceptional and appointments are most often timely. The dentist and hygienist are always chatty and friendly which just adds to the experience. I still wouldn't think of going anywhere else whilst I live in Eastbourne.

From being the most reluctant visitor to a dental surgery I now almost enjoy the experience! Trevor Grout has been the most patient and understanding member of the team at West Terrace Dental Practice and has nurtured me through both root filling and tooth extraction. I have only been a patient here for a few years, as changed from my old dentist, who I wasn't happy with, on recommendation. West Terrace must be doing something right as I travel from SE London twice a year for check ups and to see the hygienist! Always welcomed with a smile from the very pleasant receptionists, the practice is clean and tidy and not too clinical!

I have seen 3 dentists out of the 4 (due appointment logistics) and all have been attentive and gentle, the hygienists are also full of great advice to help maintain healthy teeth in between appointments.

Seen three of the four dentists and their hygienists. All of whom I would recommend. I travel from South London to Eastbourne twice a year as I cannot find any dentist that match their quality of service, care or compassion. The receptionist staff are all lovely and welcoming too.
