Duke Street Dental

Joined this dental practice in 2019 due to chipped two front teeth, got an emergency appointment within 24 hours for composite teeth at a reasonable price. Went back in 2020 with very minor tooth ache and Aideen immediately gave me an X-ray and discovered a dead tooth, I was given two options to treat this and when I had the tooth extracted (today!) Aideen very kindly explained everything they were doing before and during the procedure, she and the lovely dental nurse (I'm sorry I forget your name, maybe Lucy) put me at ease as I was far more nervous than I expected to be, they were so gentle considering they had to remove a large tooth and I have a metal plate in my jaw, they made sure I had plenty of pain relief and post-procedure instructions. It was so fast compared to what I expected and I highly highly recommend Aideen and this practice.

Great effort from Lynn & Aideen to squeeze in an appointment for a chipped front tooth. My other half has some bonding on an old chip on his front tooth. Saturday morning, the day of his Christmas work party this fell out. We called round so many dentists in a panic trying to sort & no one was able to help until we called Duke Street. Lynn was great she called me back very promptly & said they could help even though my other half wasn't a patient of theirs. The appointment was quick & we thought a very reasonable price too. Would 100% recommend & will be likely to be returning in the future.

This is the best dentist I have ever been a patient of. I first came across them due to an emergency filling I needed during lock down. They saw me the next day which at the time was amazing. I have a serious anxiety disorder and find going to the dentist very difficult, but Aideen and the team were so lovely and really made me feel at ease. The work was of a very high standard compared to previous work I have had done.

The filling was very tricky (borderline root canal, but thankfully avoided) and the price very reasonable for the work. Since I have had this work, I have swapped over to this practice for good.

I went here for an emergency appointment due to unbearable tooth pain. I was not a registered patient but they treated me as though I was, they were kind, friendly and helpful from the moment I called! I received treatment by Aideen, she could see I was nervous so really made sure I was comfortable and did her best to releave the pain. The next day I was still struggling with pain so both dentists Aideen and David took time out of their day off to see me again!

I really felt like they genuinely cared and wanted to help me as much as they could. Very professional but also personal, they have made going to the dentist a much less daunting experience. I will definitely now be registering here. Amazing service!

If you get extremely nervous about going to the dentist, I cannot recommend Duke Street Dental enough! From my first call, and throughout my appointment, I was treated with such understanding, patience and care. I am so grateful to Aideen and the team.

My partner said I should try this dentist and I, m so glad I did. I have just seen them today and was very impressed with the whole layout and the very polite staff in these strange times for us all, I was very happy indeed after seeing the young dentist and after checking and seeing what I need doing she then explained it all to me. I can't wait to go back as for me this is the best dentist I have ever seen in my 59 years.

My wonderful Dental Surgery. I was recommended this fantastic practice by my Orthodonist, a few years ago, now you cannot get a much better recommendation than that! I am the most happiest of patients there, as are my husband and two sons. One of my friends also attends there, after my recommendation and I am always singing their praises to friends and will point them to Duke Street Dental Centre.

They are professional, friendly, reassuring and put their patients first. They are always so caring and helpful and their standard of Dentistry is exceptionally high. I never have a moments fear, whilst I am in their hands. They have always been there for me, whenever I have needed them, they will go that extra mile and I know just how important their patients are to them. You will never look back, once you have been a patient here. They are simply the best Dental Practice that I have ever attended. Top Star quality!

Customer service second to none. Nothing too much trouble and sorted out dislodged veneer within a couple of hours whilst managing social distancing. A gem of a practice tucked away in central Brighton, always superb service by friendly attentive staff. By far the best dental practice I have experienced. From reception, through hygienists to both David and Aideen all are cheerful and highly professional. Plus excellent value.

This little gem is tucked away on Duke Street. Wow, what a wonderful experience. The reception staff are helpful and very welcoming, Sandy in particular is a star : To register they have a tablet which is super easy to use. The surgery is bright and pristine. David is a very skilled dentist with meticulous attention to detail. He has a calm gentle manner and good communication skills.

My treatment was first class and completely painless. The hygienist is very thorough and gives sound advice. Easily the best private dentist in Brighton in terms of professionalism and kindness. To go from a very nervous patient to one that is actually looking forward to their next check up. Absolute magic!

By far & away the best dental practice I've ever been to. I think I've been going to Duke Street for about 3 or 4 years now, and they've always been absolutely wonderful, both extremely friendly and perfectly professional. I actually found them when I needed some emergency work doing & after a terrible experience with a dentist in Hove, but since my first phone call they've really looked after me and made me feel totally at ease.

The facilities are excellent and all of the staff are really great, but I have to give special mention to my dentist Aideen & my hygienist Selma. I can't imagine going anywhere else now.
