Situated on Landkey Road in the picturesque town of Barnstaple, our practice is located next door to Newport Community School Primary Academy. We're around to straighten smiles from Monday to Friday and on the occasional Saturday. Our clinicians offer private orthodontic treatments, including traditional fixed braces, Invisalign and discreet 'incognito' braces.

I started off feeling rather apprehensive about having any kind of corrective treatment but was so unhappy with my wonky teeth that I'd stopped smiling! Also my bottom teeth had started to ache as they were cramping at the front so really needed to resolve. I needn't had worried, Richard Jones at Total Orthodontics, Hove explained the process and. patiently explained every detail of the treatment on each visit.
We decided Invisalign would be the most suitable solution for myself. Invisalign I found really comfortable and easy to wear and could easily pop out if I needed to eat or drink. All fitting in so well with life! I am now at the end of my treatment and I couldn't be happier with.

This orthodontist practice is absolutely amazing! The staff are all so very lovely and welcoming, the clinic is always clean and tidy. we really struck gold finding them! My daughter has had her braces on now for 16 months or so, and the change in her teeth already is unbelievable! They even saw her throughout the pandemic, and offered a really safe environment.
She see's Mark, who has always greeted her warmly and explained what he's doing/planning to do, each step of the way. It's definitely been well worth going private with this practice! We recommend them all the time!

My daughter has completed several years of treatment at Total Orthodontics. Lucy Blair has done an amazing job with fantastic results & my daughter is extremely happy & confident. Lucy's focus was always making sure my daughter was happy & ensured we understood what was happening through every process. I have always felt reassured with Lucy's professional & caring approach.
The treatment room was always extremely clean & well organised & we felt we were in a safe environment at all times. The dental nurse Chloe was also very professional & always on hand to offer advice & explain aftercare. Thank you Lucy, my daughter has an amazing smile :-

My daughter has been having treatment for quite a while now, she only feels comfortable and relaxed when she sees Lucy Blair she is fantastic, so caring and makes sure everything is OK before we leave. i cant praise her enough she is such a lovely lovely girl with a heart of gold, and outstanding with the standard of treatment she provides, her room is also spotless which is nice to see well done Lucy if anyone deserves a payrise you certainly do, thankyou for everything you have done

A very positive experience at Total Orthodontics Beckenham. My daughter (11 at the time) had her braces fitted with a schedule planned for 18-24 months. Aside from during the first lockdown (where no appointments were available) she was seen every 6 weeks by Helen who was always attentive, thorough and continued to communicate the progression of the treatment clearly to us. Braces came off last week, 24 months later, my daughters teeth look great and we're very happy. Thank you Helen and Total Orthodontics.

I have just completed having Invisalign treatment with Adam at the Maidenhead branch of Total Orthodontics. Throughout the nearly 2-year process, I found the team to be utterly professional as well as being really friendly, kind, helpful and accommodating to me and my child who often had to come with me due to the long journey to get to the. practice.
It hasn't always been easy doing this during the COVID crisis but my teeth are looking amazing now and finally I feel that I have had the orthodontic work done properly in my late 40s after a half complete job by the NHS when I was a teenager. If you want something done properly, sometimes you have to pay and I firmly believe this has been an investment that has really has been worth it. I would definitely recommend the team at the Maidenhead branch!

I attended the Cockermouth branch for a consultation a few weeks back. Absolutely fantastic, they were all really kind & you can tell they care about their patients! Everyone took the time to explain in depth my options & were very very honest which is exactly what I wanted. I would 100% recommend I've rarely ever felt so welcomed somewhere

Amazing service today. My 13 year old has had her braces fitted and the staff have been nothing short of amazing with her. Lucy and Anna have been exceptional this morning, very gentle and keeping my daughter updated every step of the process. Thoroughly recommend this company and these too ladies in particular. Professional yet friendly individuals providing top class service. The building is fresh and clean. Made to feel super welcome and very relaxed. Thank you both!

The reception team have always booked regular appointments around my busy schedule which are convenient for myself. Fantastic service. Opened up on a Sunday morning which suited my daughter perfectly as she has special needs and they were amazingly patient, understanding and talked her through everything prior to doing any work. They also have offered her a longer appointment to give her more time so no pressure. My son has braces and goes the regularly aswell and they are great with him. Highly recommend them.

Disappointed and would never recommend at all Hull Branch all they care about is money money and money. Paid over 3000 for my braces and treatment didn't work on my lower teeth to close the gaps ( it has been year and half) and now i have been asked to pay more money to different private dentist to get composite filling to close the gap. Surely. should be covered in the money i paid but hey ho i was never told that i will have to pay if braces didn't work 3000 is not enough.
Also i paid extra money for ceramic braces but they never have clear power chains in stock but the white ones, i mean who would want pure white power chains . Absolutely useless would never recommend to anyone. Plus if you want to change your appointment not flexible at all always say we are double triple booked i wish i would have gone to different orthodontist.

Amazingly professional service from start to finish. My daughters teeth were extremely bad and she had to have braces early on. 2 1/2 years later and she has been left with an absolutely perfect smile & bags of confidence. We cannot thank you enough. We are so lucky to have this service available to us with the NHS

Totally disgusted with how we have been messed about at Colwyn Bay branch. The staff are unwelcoming and made my 14year old out to be a liar to cover there own negligence! Then I am supposed to trust these people with my sons treatment- I really don't think so! What message does that give to our children?! My eldest son received his treatment and brace at Glan Clwyd hospital we were thrilled with the treatment and service received! His teeth are perfect and staff much more welcoming and friendly!

Good staff although the waiting time is madness. We were originally having appointments every 6 weeks but now every 11 due to little staff available. My daughter has been wearing braces for 2.5 years and they are still thinking another year due to the little appointment available. When you complain they ignore you! We missed an appointment due to GCSE exam, and they made the appointment 20 weeks later, as apparently there were no available spaces which is mad. Honestly go elsewhere wouldn't recommend., we have had a nightmare!

The commitment of the team at Horsham Total Orthodontics is exemplary, they strive to put every patient at the centre of what they do and ensure everyone gets a fantastic service. Every time we visit for my sons appointments I see examples of ‘traditional customer service’ and it’s simply an enjoyable experience to visit. I used to work here, but I don’t get ‘special treatment’ because everyone is treated the same. The team at Horsham are the nicest collection of professionals and it was an honour to work with them.

Visited Total Orthodontics in Uckfield for the first time today with my incredibly anxious 11 yr old who was almost hyperventilating before his appointment. Having noted his anxiety on the form, I really couldn't have had asked for better service. The receptionist clearly had made the dentists aware and both the female dentists were utterly reassuring and so patient and friendly with him.
Thank you for making his first orthodontist experience a reassuring and pleasurable one and hopefully he will remember this for when his treatment starts. We arrived with a frown but left with a smile!!

We have just had my son's brace removed after 2 years 2 months treatment... wow what a smile! We were looked after by Mary and Carol at Haywards Heath and I can only say what a great experience it was and how nice they were with my 13 year old son. I shall miss going there... maybe not so much for my boy..:).

I had straight teeth all my life, but they moved when I hit my 40s. As a 50th present to myself I had braces fitted. I also had an implant fitted during the process and I can’t thank Rod and the team at Haywards Heath enough for all the guidance and support throughout. They were invaluable. I visited the Camberley practice today with my 15 year old son to have the bottom brace on his teeth fitted and just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for being so patient and friendly. We have had to postpone this appointment twice due to him needing major bowel surgery in May for his Crohns and the practice couldn’t have been more understanding and supportive their patient care really is exceptional.
