Smile Dental Practice is based in the heart of East Croydon, close to many transportation links. With only a 5-10 minute walk from East Croydon train station, making us easily accessible from Central London. We treat Private, Denplan and NHS patients on a daily basis, providing those patients with the highest quality of dental care we are proud to give.
As you can imagine, the majority of patients who come through our door are petrified of the Dentist. Are you one of those who are anxious or nervous about the dental treatments? Do you hate visiting the Dentist? Do you have a fear of the Dentist? Many patients have a fear of the Dentist, do not let your fear put you off of the Dental treatment.
Founded in 2012, Smile Dental Lab is a full service digital and traditional dental lab serving dental practices throughout the UK. Led by Manpal Chana (MSc (hons) Dental Technology, BSc (hons ) Dental Technology), Smile Dental Lab prides itself on building trusted one-to-one working relationships with dentists, getting to know how they work, what they need and delivering lab services that is personal.

I have only just joined the Practice and so far things seem good. The Dental Surgery is clean and well presented with a good selection of magazines to read and all current and for 2022 not 1985 or anything silly! The receptionists are also friendly, efficient and quick. I love the email confirmations and the regular touch base in the form of emails.
My initial appointment took a long while only because the dentist was on leave and returned to a long list of patients to see but she too was lovely and really thorough, I think name dropping here is allowed, I saw Hamini and she was kind and lovely. She will be my go to. I have also seen the Hygienist and she too was friendly and thorough so happy in general. Hope they keep up the good work, but so far yes I recommend. P.S. No affiliation but if they want to discount me for all of my treatments then bring it on! :-D

I have been with Smile Dental for many years now. The standard is very average. I have seen many dentist during my time with them, and the standard is very inconsistent. It seems like over the years, the money is more important than the patients care, which it very strange for being a private client. I am sure this will not be agreed by the practice.
You can see pockets if greatness like Larysa on reception. Unfortunately as staff come and go, it is really hard to get everyone working to the same mission statement. Internal communication is also hit and miss.

Really great with my 2 year old daughters first dentist visit! There was a bit of a waiting time for them to see them, and I ended up having to move the first appointment last minute as she came down ill at preschool - but the wait was definitely worth it! She was very nervous on the way, and then typically FULL of beans and trying to run around everywhere when we got there. But they were super patient, kind, and helpful! She made me transfer the stickers to her school shirt the next day to show them where she'd went;- thank you!

I came to Smile Dental Practice after having a horrific time at another dentist that I wont name and shame. I am so glad I found Smile Dental Practice the team here have been incredible from the receptionist, my dentist Melissa and the dental nurses I have felt at ease throughout my treatment plan and Melissa has taken the time to talk me through step by step how to correct the work I had done previously and advice on how to look after my teeth better. I have from this completely changed my dental routine for the better. I cannot recommend this dentist enough and thank you to the team here

A big Thank you to Dr Melissa Patel for the enthusiastic and professional service she provided to me on Saturday 23rd November. She really went the extra mile by coming to the Practice (on her day off!) when I needed urgent attention for a gum infection. Really refreshing to walk into a Practice where all the staff are so friendly and sympathetic. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Patel and Smile Dental Practice.

Been using this practice for over a year now - The BEST dental practice I have ever used for me and my family. Teaching and educating about good oral hygiene is what this practice does best. They inform, advise and remind us what to do to get the best outcome for us all. My 6 year old needed a deep filling and the care was excellent, but the advise is what sets this practice apart from other dentists we have been to.
My whole life, I have always gone to the dentist and I still am learning new tips to improve oral hygiene. Melissa (our family dentist) is AMAZING! Knowledgable, confident, polite and super helpful. A final note, the reminder call and text message a few days before appointments are so helpful for me as a busy mum. I Can not recommend this practice enough.
