Alex was amazing today! Thea, my Autistic daughter, has been suffering with issues with a wisdom tooth and it needed extracting. She has been on a waiting list at the hospital which could take 10-12 months. Thea had a big flare up with constant pain in her wisdom tooth. We had to get Thea to the Dentist. Alex explained we have two choices medication to calm it down or extraction, either way it would need to come out. Thea chose to have it removed as she had enough of the pain. Alex explained everything as he carried out the procedure and kept Thea at ease with his calming humour.

Success Alex got the tooth out! Thea was a happy young lady and high fived Alex. On departing Thea remarked " I like that man" which is very unique for Thea to say that. Good job Alex.

Excellent Dental surgery. The professionalism of all the team is of the highest level. They work with care, expertise and flawless attention to patient care.

Alex, just a quick note to say thank you for the awesome job you did in extracting my wisdom teeth this morning. I am in shock at how quick and 'easy' it was and how comfortable you made me feel, so thank you very much for that. As someone who (thankfully) doesn't require much in the way of medical intervention, I was naturally apprehensive prior to the procedure. However, your calm an professional approach, taking the time to properly anaesthetise the areas and keeping me fully informed for every step of the way, made me feel like this was no more daunting than a mere check up! A fantastic facility with great dentists, hygienists and support staff.

I can't fault this dental practice. In the past, I've found the thought of going to the dentist excruciating (bad experience in my youth), but my first visit to Michael Dental Care has completely changed my outlook. My initial appointment with thorough, and the dentist was so kind: really taking the time to explain what she was going and why. My options were all clearly explained and I'm 100% happy with my treatment plan going forwards. Would highly recommend.

We have been coming to Alex since he took this dental practice over many years ago. We can't fault our treatment, his mix of proactiveness and doing just what is needed works for us. But after a rubbish week for us, both my husband and I had to have planned treatment and nearly cancelled. But we feel we are coming to friends and kept our appointments. Not only did we get the usual fab treatment, but we also got a lot of TLC, because of the personal touch. Thank you.

Being a patient at the practice for many years, I can't recommend them highly enough. Alex is a true professional and always put patients at ease. This week my crown fell out. i contacted the surgery and they offered an appointment later that very day. Fantastic service as always.

Best dentist around. Alex is brilliant. Highly recommended. I have never dreaded going to visit, he puts you at ease straight away. Superb. I could write more, but I'll stop the praise here.

First time going private with dental care as NHS waiting times in this area were a little lengthy. Disappointed today as I was told over the phone that my appointment would be roughly 40 minutes and from my experience qith past dentist appointments there has always been time to give my teeth a little clean up. My appointment was only 15 minutes and was told there was not enough time to clean up my teeth. Albeit I still had 25 minutes remaining.

They had also taken an x Ray, I am not a professional in dentistry so I am unsure why they were not able to see my wisdom teeth when other dentists have been able to. My previous dentists have provided me with exceptional care and attention to detail. So from past experience my expectations were high as they should be. Unfortunately they have not been met today.

I sadly will not be returning here nor recomending this practice to friends. Update: Thank you for your reply Dr Alex Michael. It was not really an inconvenience to come back again. I was told over the telephone that this consultation would include scaling and polishing as it is a 40 minute appointment and if there is time the dentist would be able to do this. Therefore, the service I was looking for and enquired about had not been provided.

My appointment was at 14:45 and I had left the dentist at 15:00. I would have understood if there was no time for some hygiene treatment. But I was sent home after 15 minutes. The x rays were not showing all the teeth, I was particularly worried out my wisdom teeth and their positioning and when visiting I was told they are not visible on the X Ray.

It is not really an inconvenience to come again. I am disappointed with being told one thing and getting another. The service that was advertised to me was not the one I received. I hope you can understand my point of view. Many thanks

Dr Abby Michael is the best Dental Surgeon that I have yet trusted my check-ups, treatments and Tooth Whitening procedures to in very many years! Well worth checking as to when the Practice was taking on new Private Patients, now 3 years years ago. Highly recommended.
