As a purely Orthodontic Practice, orthodontics is all we do. Our treatment is provided by registered orthodontic specialists and has a good reputation for clinical excellence. St Marks treats all orthodontic problems ranging from simple aesthetic alignment to the most complex malocclusions. We offer a range of different braces from clear Invisalign aligners and lingual braces, to more conventional metal or clear ceramic fixed braces. We are open five days a week, regular Saturday mornings and some evenings, thereby providing flexibility with your appointment times.

All Orthodontists at St Marks are registered Specialists Orthodontics with the General Dental Council. We are all members of the Consultant Orthodontic Group and the Orthodontic Specialist Group of the British Orthodontic Society. Karen graduated in dentistry from Guys Hospital in 1989 and was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Ashford & St Peters NHS Trust in 2001.
At St Marks Orthodontics we take your privacy seriously and we will only use your personal information for the purpose of providing proper and safe dental care. We may need to disclose information about you with other health professionals caring for you. To the best of my knowledge all the information given is correct and I give permission for the treating clinician to contact my referring dentist and/or doctor to check any medical/dental records available.
All Orthodontists at St Marks have a wealth of experience in this specialist field and are Hospital Orthodontic Consultants in South and West London. After qualifying as Dentists, their specialist orthodontic training involved an additional 3 years to qualify as an Orthodontist, then a further 3 years specialist training to become a qualified Hospital Orthodontic Consultant. So you can rest assured that the person carrying out your treatment at St Marks really is at the forefront of their chosen profession.
Metal orthodontic braces are made from stainless steel and have been used for many years. While they are relatively inexpensive they are the most cost effective and are still considered the cheapest of all the fixed appliance options. These are much less visible and look more natural than metal braces, as they blend in with your teeth.

The St Mark's Orthodontist team was amazing at helping me completing my journey to having straight teeth! Claire Hepworth and her assistant were fantastically professional, patient and cheerful. They explained everything clearly and despite the challenges of the pandemic, the results were brilliant! THANK YOU SO MUCH! My daughter's treatment over the last 20 months has been exceptional. The team at St Marks are so professional, caring and always smiling:. They are just brilliant at explaining to nervous teens as to how the procedure will be work and what we can expect. Initially we thought this was going to be pretty daunting experience for our teen but after our meeting with Karen we were totally put at ease and were keen to get going. St Mark's have made the whole process of braces for my son so straightforward. Right from the start they have been friendly and reliable. I was recommended Liz at St Marks for my daughter's orthodontic care. It really is hard to recommend her highly enough. She is an outstanding orthodontist who has transformed my daughter's smile beyond recognition. Liz takes painstaking care over the tiniest of details as evidenced by the brilliant results with my daughter's treatment. She has a wonderful and warm way with teenagers which makes such a difference. Furthermore, the after care she has provided to ensure that my daughter's lovely smile is maintained has been excellent.
