I have been very impressed with Tangmere Dental Care having recently moved to the local area. Their use of advanced technology compared to what I've encountered before, seems to provide a lot more options of how teeth problems can be addressed with a less painful dental visit experience. It also helps with explaining dental problems and treatment options. All staff are welcoming and very competent.

Not a fan of going to the dentist ( haven't been for a very very long time) but the staff and Dr Liu made all my bad memories of childhood dental visits go away and with Dr liu explaining in a calm way that made me actually want to start the treatment program straight away.

The staff are lovely - warm and kind and Dr Liu is particularly gentle with patients. Well equipped surgery with crowns made on site, and latest hygienist facilities. The only gripe I have is the confounding system of deposits payable for future treatment. The system is so complicated (with different rates of deposit required for different treatments), that even the reception staff are unable to work out what has been paid and what is due.

The system gives them a figure to request from me, but they cannot provide any meaningful breakdown, because they're as mystified as I am. Charging me in advance for treatment not yet undertaken is questionable, (even though I am assured that most dental surgeries in this area do it). I have no idea where my deposit would be should the surgery close down, as the advance funds are apparently only held in their standard business account - not any special client account.

It amounts to me lending them my money for the interim between appointments, which can mean I have to go into overdraft which costs me - which is infuriating. If they really want to send the message that they don't trust their patients to actually turn up, could they not use a simpler system at least - perhaps a deposit of 100 held on account, so at least one would know what one was actually paying for when you're relieved of 1/10th of your monthly income in one fell swoop at the end of an appointment.

Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and reassuring for any scaredy-cats like me Highly recommend Paul and his team.

I would clasify the Tangmere Dental Practice as excellent in every respect. I have received first class treatment over several year now, and the treatment adn its executtion have been consistently first class. All their staff (including their reception staff) are unreservidly receptive and helpful, and even at hort notice have always accomodated me when emergency treatment has been requested. In addition, the Practice has a policy of having up-to-date equipment available in-house. We are most fortunate to have such a well-run dental practice in Tangmere.

I have been with this practice for almost 25 years and once again received wonderful, timely and up to date care.

I always feel I am in safe, experienced hands, including the reception team. The best dentist in the South of England.
