Having been dental phobic for many years when I got an abscess I was terrified. I phoned and made an appointment and from the minute I walked into the practice I felt totally at ease. Everything that was going to happen was talked through and I managed to have the treatment I needed and I won't hesitate to back again. I would highly recommend anyone who has had a problem with dentists in the past to try this practice.

I needed emergency treatment for a broken tooth on Good Friday. Given the lockdown and the fact it was a bank holiday I thought my chances of finding a dentist were slim to non-existent. How wrong I was. Michael not only opened his surgery just to treat me he also charged me a modest amount for my treatment. I'm incredibly grateful and now pain free.

Always a lovely warm welcome at reception and the whole team are helpful and genuinely supportive of all your requirements. The view and advise for treatment has always been completely open, honest and very reassuring. I thoroughly recommend the team for all your dental requirements. (I will never go back to an NHS dentist)

After years of living in different countries and different dentists I had extensive work done to replace old dark fillings with new white ones - 2 three hour sessions, a crown fitting, and a bite tune up and done. I'm really happy with my bright new smile. Michael has a great painless injection technique, makes you feel comfortable with what he will do and the results, and I've finally found a dentist for the rest of my life to rely on.

The whole experience was calm and serene and I would highly recommend Westgate Dental to anyone, plus my wife loves the hygienist too in a " professional and pleasant surgery" to quote her. We are both happy with the service and even got a call the following day to check that I was ok after the major work I had done which was unexpectedly wonderful and caring, a rarity in today's world. I've been going to Mr Meyer since I had a critical and awful, experience with a crowned tooth from a different dentist. He patiently took me in even though he was fully booked, and I have been going to him for the past 15 years. He's care for you as a patient surpasses anyone I've ever been to. He's thorough and very gentle and he's all about your well being (of course that of your teeth as well) and you never get the idea that he will suggest or do work for the sake of financial gain. Friends whom I recommended to see him ( they were petrified of going to the dentist and had had some really negative experiences) all think he is the best dentist there is. Everyone working at Westgate Dental is great and I always feel that the service one gets is of the highest standard. Very highly recommend Mr Meyer and he's team.
