The Maple Road Dental Practice was founded in 1954 by Mr Geoff Harper and is a dental practice with strong roots in the local community. Mr Pip Thomas bought the practice in 1981 and followed on from Mr Harper building the practice to its current size incorporating disabled access. The practice currently has a patient base of 8000+ patients served by 5 dentists, 4 Hygienists and a dedicated team of qualified dental nurses.

The practice has expanded into other avenues of treatment and now has two Part Time State Registered Podiatrist/Chiropodist offering advice and treatment for any foot problems

I don't normally leave reviews for dentists but the staff here were very kind and informative. The hygienist made me feel very comfortable having given me an anaesthetic for my gums before the clean. Some thing I've never been offered and it made the experience far less painful than it usually is. Highly recommended.

I am not a dental fan but a friend said you will be ok at the maple she said Tom is very nice you will like him. And she was right I have been a patient for over a year and I love everything he has done so I would recommend Tom to you he keeps me calm so I recommend the maple to you.

Another pain free and pleasant visit to Maple Dental Care. As others comment, it is a welcoming environment to walk in to. Everyone is so helpful and calming. To think that I used to have to have injections to have my teeth cleaned but thanks to the care, dedication and assurances from the whole team over the last 30 years (yikes!) it is now an actual pleasure to go to the Dentist!

Particular thanks to Ian and Ange for their care today. Also Katherine Walker and her nurse, for dressing up - and sounding - like crisp packets whilst I had my first "water pick" for nearly two years! Just L-O-V-E having my teeth scaled and polished. Thank you for a fantastic first visit to Maple Dental this morning. Helen took the time to discuss my current concerns and possible treatments I may be interested in and made me feel very welcome from the second I walked in. I also had an extensive review with Stephen who assessed my mouth health thoroughly and explained which treatments would me most suitable for me. Again, I was made to feel very welcome and at ease. I have been a patient here for 31 years, staff are excellent that includes the receptionists, hygiene team and the dentist. I have been very happy with the friendly service and treatment I have received. I have recommended to my friends and other family members who have also stayed with the practice. There has never been a reason to complain once. Has a nice atmosphere
