Services
We provide family dentistry for our patients offering a range of general dental services. We welcome both adults and children. We take a special interest in the the restoration and replacement of teeth. This can involve Crowns, Bridgework, Dentures, Dental Implants, Root Canal Work and other forms of tooth restoration.
Please call into the practice in Denton or telephone us on 0161 320 4230. Our reception staff will be pleased to make you an appointment at a convenient time for a consultation. We look forward to seeing you. Our practice is situated on Stockport Road in Denton about 250 yards from Denton Centre 'Crown Point'. There is easy car parking on side streets and a public car park very near on Town Lane.
If you have a dental emergency please telephone the practice and we will do our best to see you the same day. Please ring before about 11.00 if possible. If you contact us near the end of the day we may not be able to accommodate you until the following day. Please telephone the practice number. On our answering service you will hear advice on the appropriate telephone numbers to ring for urgent advice and help.

I finished my treatment yesterday, various procedures were carried out. I can honestly say I have never given a 5 star review for anything before EVER. I have completed my cosmetic dentistry today with Simon Pope at Shelley and Pope Dental Practice. Starting with Tooth Whitening I then went on to have Three new Crowns on my front teeth. The treatment was done over several weeks. Each visit I was put at ease by Simon and his nurse. Simon explained what he was doing and constantly reassured me that I was doing well, asking did I need a break, was I ok.
They really looked after me. He was fabulous and I am delighted with the result. I have been attending this dentist practice for over 20 Years. I would certainly recommend Simon. He is professional, honest and an amazing dentist. Thank you

I received Invisalign treatment from James and it could not have gone better. All staff from the receptionists to James were excellent throughout! The treatment was straight forward and I was very happy with how my teeth turned out! Would highly recommend Shelley and Pope Dental Practice to anyone thinking of getting Invisalign or any other dental treatment.

I recently used Shelley and Pope Dental Practice for an Invisalign treatment and am delighted with the results! James was excellent to work with. Very consultative and reassuring. He has very high standards, he even pushed back to Invisilign directly, when he wasn't happy with an orignial mould. I would highly recommend James and the rest of the team at Shelley and Pope to anyone on the market for an Invisalign treatment.

I have been going to this dentist for over 15 years now. I was first a patient of Andrew's after a lengthy time away from dentists due to past bad experiences. Andrew is courteous, genuine and most of all exceptionally kind and patient and made me change how I felt about regular visits to the dentist. I then became a patient of Simon's several years later and was at first worried about changing but Simon is equally as invested in his patients.
This whole culture is embedded into the entire practice. Everyone is welcoming warm and just incredibly nice from the ladies on reception to even passing people in the surgery. I will never change and I live miles away. I also have dentists that are within walking distance from my home but I feel safe and looked after here and can't recommend it highly enough.

Excellent service from all the staff. Root canal treatment is not top of my list of fun ways to spend a few hours but Mr Pope and his team were fantastic and were successful in saving a wisdom tooth with some pretty tricky roots!. There is a high level of skill and expertise coupled with genuine kindness and care for the patient. I would have no hesitation 're commending this practise every time. Thank you
