We pride ourselves on the excellent care levels and service that we offer to all our customers. Mr A had the back teeth on his lower jaw extracted many years ago. These extractions did not cause him any undue problems and he managed without any dentures being made. When he was 65 years old, however, his front teeth became loose and he had to have those extracted too.
At the Dental Academy we have dentists who have a special interest in Orthodontics, Endodontics, Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. Periodontitis (Advanced Gum Disease) literally means inflammation of the tissues that hold the tooth in its socket. If left untreated it can result in the destruction of the tooth attachment.
It focuses on looking after you and your family's oral health by providing regular and thorough dental examinations and hygiene care in order to spot and treat problems early. Prevention is always better than cure, so a general dentist will also provide preventive advice and treatment to try to stop problems occurring in the first place.

I have been with Richard at the Dental academy from the start of my journey with my teeth. I originally came to Richard a few years ago with issues with my teeth moving from having braces younger and not maintaining the up keep of them. Richard was excellent and talked me through everything and went above and beyond to offer guidance and help and throughout my journey with my teeth he did everything he possibly could to ensure I was happy with the end result. once I had straightened my teeth I then went back to Richard for a composite filler procedure which he has done superb!
He has made me feel so happy and content with my teeth again and went to so much efforts to ensure I was happy! He has made coming to a private dentist a pleasurable experience and nothing is too much of an ask! I now would not go to another dentist after my experience with this one. The place is lovely and all of the reception are so friendly and kind and willing to help!
The safety measurements they have put in place for Covid19 are also excellent they have full PPE and all the correct things in place to follow the government guidelines that make you feel at ease at every appointment you have. But I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Richard for all his work on my teeth and I will enjoy my routine checks with him and feel comfortable to ask any questions in the near future. 5 stars for this dentist! : love Carly.

I've been petrified of dentists all my life until I attended here under the c/o Kevin Dobbs. I can't believe to this day that I sat for 5 hours having dental implants fitted. After a 2 hour break I sat there for a further two hours. I had the top set done first and returned some weeks later to have the bottom ones fitted ( this suited me financially) I always smiled with my mouth shut - not anymore I'm like a flippin Cheshire cat.
At no time or since that experience one year ago did I ever feel ANY pain. I now waltz in there for my check ups and to see the hygienist and am no longer petrified of dentists! A miracle. Thank you Dental Academy Daresbury

Painless! I had to have a filling replaced today. There's always a bit of worry that about having any dental treatment and wondering if it will hurt. I can honestly say I didn't feel a thing! Totally painless injection. Smooth and efficient treatment from Richard and Alicia and excellent communication throughout. I could've fallen asleep. And (bonus) much more relaxing than home schooling!

I went on Wednesday for my first treatment I cannot stop smiling. Alicia and Lisa were fantastic the whole way through put me at ease and so welcoming. The whole area was clean and spotless. I was briefly introduced to Richard who was so lovely. Alicia and Lisa throughout the whole treatment were professional, considerate and put me at ease. I had the same service in another salon and was disappointed but two days later can already see results. See you soon for my check up and keep up the good work. Thank you for my confidence back.

Had implants in November cant say how pleased I am to have my smile back. Was unsure as yes you are spending a lot of money but had 3 meetings with Jan and at no time was their any pressure. After 50 years of crowns posts and dentures I am so so glad I went ahead. Jan Kevin and John were all brilliant with me and I really cant thank them enough. I felt safe in their hands and have ever confidence in them all. Would recommend them at the drop of a hat. Many thanks.

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the dental academy team! I had Invisalign treatment in the lead up to my wedding after considering it for years. I couldn't fault my treatment and was looked after amazingly from start to finish by all members of staff. I also had some tooth whitening once my Invisalign treatment was complete which helped me achieve the perfect smile for my wedding day! So pleased with the final result and can't recommend the dental academy enough!

I've recently gone through Invisalign treatment with Richard and I have to say its been nothing short of spectacular!
