Dental Hygiene Treatment
Report
Hygienists work with dentists and their main role is to professionally clean your teeth, a process called scaling and polishing. They will carefully remove hard deposits of calculus (tartar) that build up on your teeth, using manual or ultrasonic instruments. If there is a lot of tartar, two or three visits may be necessary.
Hygienists also give advice on diet, oral hygiene and will recommend suitable products to maintain good oral health.

Crowns
Report
Conventional crowns are made of porcelain bonded to precious metal or gold. Teeth are cut down to "stumps" so that there is enough mechanical retention to support a crown. New techniques however allow for highly aesthetic metal-free porcelain "onlay" crowns to be placed with adhesive techniques, meaning that only a small amount of natural tooth material is removed from the teeth. These 100% porcelain crowns emulate your natural teeth very closely in both look and feel, with all the natural ridges and even a semi-transparency around the edges so no one can tell it's not your original tooth. They are also strong, durable and long-lasting.
Veneers
Report
Veneers are always made of porcelain, but there are still several different types and techniques available. Usually a very small amount of enamel is shaved off the tooth and then the new porcelain veneer is bonded on. Newer techniques don't involve any removal of natural tooth material, but instead very thin specially made porcelain is added over the top of the tooth to change it's shape or size.
As each person is an individual, so is each tooth in your mouth. Each Veneer is hand-crafted by a skilled dental ceramicist to match the ideal shape and colour for your natural teeth.

Bridges
Report
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. Appearance is one consideration, however, there are health reasons too. Teeth on either side of a gap can lean into the gap and alter the way the lower and upper teeth bite together, causing problems with your jaw. It can become more difficult to eat and food can also get packed into the gap, leading to both decay and gum disease.
Root Canal Treatment
Report
Root canal treatment (also called endodontics) is needed when the nerve of your tooth or its blood supply (the pulp) has been infected through decay or injury. An infection in the pulp can cause an abscess. An abscess is an inflamed area in which pus collects, and its symptoms range from a dull ache to a severe pain.
If root canal treatment is not carried out, the infection will spread and your tooth may need to be taken out.

We called with an emergency on 27- November 2020 in the morning because lower denture broke so I can not eat nothing and B-dental gave me an appointment on 8-December 2020 "after paid £6000 for my denture". So in effect I can’t eat solids until then if that’s not an emergency well ? This is very bad customer service from your company. I am really upset and I just want to share this very bad situation with future customers. BE WARNED!

Been referred to by local dentist. Great experience, had root canal treatment. Met with highest standard professionalism. Was slightly late due to being held up unexpectedly but the practice showed some understanding. Thanks to Dr Orsteen who showed courtesy, empathy and highest standard of service. He takes time to ensure the patient understands the prognosis and after treatment update during follow up appointment; doesn’t seem to rush like elsewhere.
The practice also emails/post full treatment report to patient as well as to local primary care dentist referrer, if applicable. Fees may be a bit pricey to some but still remains competitive/usually not higher than other similar practices. I opted for local London based treatment despite being offered alternative cheaper options in Europe, due to both time constraints and personal conditions on the advice of local dentist. Thankfully I’m happy about this. The service usually comes with a after year follow up if needed, with no additional fees, at the time of writing.

I find the one bad review on here very hard to believe. I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr Patel. He was very clear and explained every detail in depth which made me feel at ease and like I was in good hands. The procedure was quick and relatively painless. I was given excellent post procedure care with antibiotics, pain killers and ice packs.
Dr Patel called me the next day to see if everything was ok.
Professional, no nonsense and worth every penny.

I was referred to see the specialist Endontist to fix a failed root filling. The experience from start to finish was amazing. The waiting area is comfortable - leather sofas and recent magazines. Tea and coffee offered while waiting. The toilet is spotless and staff friendly. The whole practice is comfortably air conditioned. The dentist took time to explain treatment options and costs.
The procedure was undertaken with care and with the latest equipment (digital x-rays, microscope etc). The dentist and nurse worked as a team. Amazing experience and no more expensive than other London dentists. Recommended

The place is bright and clean, with state of the art equipment, and most importantly, the staff are professional and friendly, I have been going regularly for 3 years now and my gums have gone from "in a state" to healthy and pink. My teeth are whiter and I have gotten my smile back. I would recommend B Dental to anyone who wants a healthier mouth and to anyone who has any dental phobias.

The staff is very professional and trustworthy, the equipment is state of the art equipment and the clinic is pristine. They were the only clinic I could fully trust for complex dental work that I had to have done. I live far from Islington but it was worth the trek across town as I didn't have the same trust in my local dentist as I do in B Dental. On another occasion they were very accommodating when I needed an urgent weekend emergency appointment. Highly recommended.
