The practice offers a broad range of dental services to all our patients examinations, hygiene therapy, fillings, crowns, veneers, dentures etc. The only treatments we do not provide at the practice are dental implants and orthodontic treatment.New patients to the practice will receive a comprehensive examination at which we will find out as much about you, your previous dental treatment and experiences, and your expectations of what you are looking for from us. This usually takes 30-40 minutes and may include x-rays and photos.
Dentistry today focuses much more on preventing disease, so patients will be given advice regarding diet, oral hygiene, the impact of smoking, and the benefits of keeping their mouth healthy. We encourage patients to do as much as possible themselves to maintain a healthy mouth. Our approach is one of prevention, with treatment on a minimal intervention basis as and when required.
Where treatment is required, we wish our patients to retain as natural an appearance as possible. We are able to offer patients tooth coloured fillings, porcelain crowns and veneers, and tooth whitening.

Services
No Fear Dentists wish to ensure that patients are fully aware and advised of fees prior to treatment commencing and that our charges are open and transparent. Following any examination, all patients are given a treatment plan with an itemised quote. A brief guide to our current fees is listed below.
We are located on the south side of Bath, just off the A4/A36 which runs between Bath and Bristol, so are easily accessed by car, with on street parking (free!). There is a bus service (No 5) direct from the bus station which is conveniently located next to Bath Spa rail station. A cab from the rail station takes 5 minutes and costs approximately 7.00.

As a agency nurse who helps cover staff shortages in the Bath area, it was with ease that I was able to carry out my duties in a very well COVID controlled environment. 2 Cancelled appointments on the day, 1 appointment cancelled within an hour of it, 2 appointments kept, however dentist was sharing patients on that day due to sickness, 5 minutes in the chair, full price to pay. Desk Assistant wrote appointment as 16.15, was meant to be 15.15, however was extremely rude and arrogant when asked if appointment could be re-booked. Original Dentist left after pregnancy was fantastic, as was the desk assistant Fern. Have moved to new dental practice, service amazing in comparison.

This was my third visit to Calum and his wonderful staff. I had first visited the practice as I was a nervous dental patient, and had used other dentists with traditional methods that I found uncomfortable. Immediately after meeting Calum, he made me feel at ease, and the layout of the surgery and support staff help greatly as well. This means that when a future dental Issue occurs, it will not be a problem for me, in fact, such is my confidence in them I might even undergo treatment in the Traditional methods.
