Mubariz Hussain is Alpha House Dental Practice's Clinical Director and has been providing an excellent level of dentistry for over 28 years. Mubariz graduated in dentistry in 1983 from the University College Hospital, London and, in 1999, gained a Dental Masters degree with distinction from the Royal London Hospital.
Having come to Dr Hussain after a very bad experience elsewhere, I was very nervous at the beginning. I was recommended by a friend, who has been going to him for years, and that was the initial reason for choosing Dr Hussain. Having been there now for just over a year, I would not consider going anywhere else.
Dental check-ups are essential for good oral health and we advise all our patients to visit the practice every 6 to 12 months for a routine appointment. We will examine your mouth and check that everything is in good order, checking for any signs of developing or existing dental health problems. We will compare the state of your teeth with your notes to check that there have been no major changes. We will also ask if you have been suffering from any pain or sensitivity in the time since we last saw you.

I am so glad I found this dental practice when I needed an emergency dentist to treat a painful abscess, and very grateful to Aisling Quinn who treated me quickly, professionally and as painlessly as possible. She was so nice I am almost looking forward to my next check-up, having dodged the dentist for too long! Highly recommended :-

I was referred to the practice as I needed to be seen by a specialist. I had an ongoing serious problem and I was given the best care throughout my treatment. This place has changed my life! I was one of those people who wasn't nervous, I was terrorised at the thought of going to the dentist. But from my first call, to the wonderful nurses, to the brilliant expertise of the dentist with his lack of judgement and wish to help me, they have taken away fear and enabled me to smile again. These professionals are different, they are generous, funny and human. I can't recommend them enough. Pick up the phone, they are a quality outfit. I don't think you will find better.

This review is for all the people out there with" Dentist phobia". I have suffered for the many years both mentally and physically unable to face the dentist appointment. After a lot of painstaking research over many months I took the plunge and contacted Alpha House. I wish I had contacted them many years ago. Mr Hussein and his wonderful team(special mention to Fiona, Michelle and Chris the anesthetist ) have been wonderful in their caring treatment for me.
From my first visit I felt completely at ease and in the hands of people who really do care. They literally have brought the smile back to my face! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

From walking in the door everyone there cares for you. I am a nervous patient but have always been put at ease especially by Mr Hussain. Today I had a crucial decision to make & Julie on reception was extremely helpful in trying to get me an appointment as soon as possible. I am pleased with the decision to move to this practice as it was recommended to me & would not hesitate in recommending them to others

I have been a patient at Alpha House for a number of years now and the switch to this practice has been the best thing I have done regarding my teeth. The service and treatment I have received has been second to none. Everyone from the Dentists, Specialists, Hygienists, Dental Nurses and Reception Staff are all caring, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
I now have no hesitation in going to the Dentist, where as previously I always felt anxious about going. I feel comfortable attending and am reassured every step of the way. I have no hesitation in recommending Alpha House to anyone who like me gets anxious about attending the Dentist.

I am a new patient of Mr Hussain, after receiving several recommendations from friends and family, I found his chair side manner very reassuring and calming before and during treatment. His follow up appointment to check everything was comfortable and settled, was very professional as it would have been very difficult to give a proper reply with a sore, numb mouth immediately after the work. Would recommend this dentist as a patient of his.

I'm not sure how to put into words just how grateful I am that I've found thIs practice. I've had a phobia of needles for over 30yrs stemming from a dental experience. It's impacted my life massively. I had to have some teeth removed and the absolute care and gentleness with how I've been dealt with from the reception team through to the nurses, the anaesthetist and to the truly amazing Mr Hussain I cannot express my thanks and gratitude enough.
It's so much more than them just doing 'their job'. Quite simply the best experience I've ever had and I'm now sticking with this lot! They're just absolutely brilliant, worth every single penny and I can't wait to get my beautiful white smile. Please please go to them if you're scared or even if you're not!

I applaud Mr Hussain and his Team such fantastic service. Mr Hussain really puts you at ease has a chat and remembers you, i had my check up 2 weeks ago after having new dentures fitted 2 years previously and he remembered me, that alone makes you feel good. If you need a very good Dentist than this is the practice for you, i actually look forward to going to the dentist amazing.

I went to Alpha House as a very nervous patient and have never had a better experience at the dentist. I am always dealt with in a patient and understanding manner. Each visit I find I am less nervous about attending appointments. I was suffering from a painful clicking jaw and grinding my teeth at night. I had a mouthguard made at the dentist's recommendation and after 2 nights of wearing it whilst sleeping the clicking disappeared!
I continue to wear it to protect my teeth and cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone suffering with tmj related issues. Finally a dentist I trust and am able to go to with less anxiety.

Just wow. I had not been to dentist for at least 10 years due to some really bad experiences. Had really bad infection so had no choice but to go. So happy I went to Mr Hussain, what a wonderful man, so kind and patient. He put me at ease, just amazing. Staff are so caring and friendly. Can't thank you enough. I have my smile back. Recommend them to everyone, first class.
