Glumangate Dental Practice in Chesterfield is right in the town centre. Our practice is built on the foundations of NHS dental treatment and our dentists have several years experience working in the National Health Service.
Our NHS list is full and we are accepting new patients on a private basis.
Services
If you require emergency dental treatment, if you are suffering with toothache or require treatment in a hurry then ring us on 01246 273 089 to arrange an emergency appointment. What if we can't do the treatment? Sometimes we are unable to carry out the treatment required. This could be because the teeth are too broken down to remove in the normal way (they may require surgical removal which is when we cut the gum - this requires a much longer appointment) or an infection may block the anaesthetic.
At Glumangate Dental Practice, we understand that many patients are nervous of dental treatment and that there are different reasons for patients' fears. We strive to alleviate patients' nerves and the whole team always makes every effort to make the experience as comfortable as possible. We listen to each individual patient's concerns and discuss all the options available.
We offer a referral service for periodontal treatment, Endodontics treatment, implants, and Cone Beam CT Scans. We promise to only undertake the treatment specified in the referral, after which the patient will be discharged back to your care. You will be kept informed of the patient's progress, and we welcome your input and involvement in the treatment where appropriate.
Richard exclusively practices all aspects of implant dentistry, including hard and soft tissue augmentation, sinus grafting and immediate loading. He is both nationally and internationally respected as a lecturer and mentor in implant dentistry, same-day implants and CT scanning & planning for implant surgery.
Michael qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013 and quickly understood how important periodontal health was for his patients. In 2017 he completed the Periodontics Course at the Royal College of Surgeons in London and in the same year joined the British Society of Periodontology. In 2019, Michael started his MSc in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute London.

After walking through the wrong door totally the wrong way in! and scaring the staff! ha ha its so friendly! the staff are so down to earth and so so nice! i had 2 teeth pulled out and all was done in a few minutes the dentist she numbed me up pulled them both out and stitched me up no bother! very professional and very caring. ( not like other dentists i've been 2) this is the nicest dentist i've ever been 2! that much so i'm changing to this one! recommended *****

I've been referred here by 111 a couple of times to get teeth out under sedation, both times by Dr Hannah Nasse. Both times have been an easy experience despite having a quire severe dental phobia. Dr Nasse and her team really put me at ease and made sure I was sedated enough to not remember the procedure. If I could afford private dental care i would register here without hesitation.

A warm welcome and attentive service from reception staff to the dental practitioners. Relatively low waiting times to book an appointment and good value for money. I recently had my hygienist appointment with Samma whom had a friendly nature and I felt assured I was in professional care throughout my time at the practice. Would recommend this dental surgery.

Came in yest to see Gretta very pleasant young lady. She was fantastic with me didn't pressure me into anything I couldn't cope with. Gave me a simple x ray and told me I need 3 teeth out on the 1st march which I'm booked in for. I would highly recommend this place to any nervous patients even if u have to pay private it's worth it. Far better than suffering.

I can not recommend them enough, the whole experience was 5 star and I am now registering on their dental plan. I needed an emergency care appointment and was so relieved when they fit me in the same day and not just for a consultation but they fixed my broken tooth there and then. Rami is an amazing dentist. Went here for the very first time to have my wisdom tooth removed, the staff made me feel comfortable as I was very nervous and Hannah who removed my tooth was amazing. I haven't been in pain once and don't remember the procedure at all. Rami also managed to get me a quick appointment, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic dental surgery , very clean and everything done correctly regrading space, masks, and hand gels. Just awanted to say a huge thank you to Rami and the team for looking after me recently following emergency treatment. As a very nervous patient, I was treated with patience, kindness and respect - thank you. The whole procedure was completely painless and quick - sooo relieved its now sorted. I'm absolutely gutted that the dentist I've always seen, is having to leave. I suffer from anxiety and trust issues, as I've had bad experiences in other dentist practices before. Rose Sear, is the best dentist I've ever had, always made me feel comfortable and is very good at what she does, leaving me happy as what patients should feel. Actually really wounded that my next appointments going to be with someone else I don't know, as it's going to take me a long time to get to trust this dentist. Please let Rose come back as soon as possible she's amazing and I've never had one problem after leaving from my appointment.

Had a wisdom tooth extracted today. Hannah and her nurse (so sorry forgotten her name) were incredible. I was so scared when I went in but they put me right at ease, didn't feel a thing (granted that's down to anaesthetic) but still as gentle as possible. Checked on me constantly couldn't have wished for a better team, really helped me through. An absolute credit to the practice, would recommend hands down if you've got wisdoms to remove.
