Sussex Dental First Aid is run by Garry Perkins an enthusiastic and experienced First Aid Trainer/Assessor for over 30 years with a background of managing and teaching First Aid/ Manual Handling courses in the dental industry, schools, colleges and adult education centrers and with proven knowledge in disability, homeless and drug issues. As a HPC Registered Paramedic with over ten years experience Garry maintains his personal skills and experience through regular continuing professional development and his operational duties.

Report
We offer resuscitation training for dental teams, at your premises and at a time to suit you. Our comprehensive training covers not only Basic/Advanced Life Support (CPR) but also recognition & immediate care for medical emergencies common to dental practice and cover the administration of first line drugs ie. oxygen, adrenaline, glucose, glucagon, midazolam, GTN, aspirin and salbutamol. Our Paramedic trainers will carry out a full review and check all emergency medications at your practice in-line with the clinical practice guidelines. This training is CPD verifiable and certificates of attendance will be supplied in line with the GDC guidelines.
