Woodbury Dental and Laser clinic

If I can convince just one person "not" to go to this Dentist, I'd be content with that. Don't be surprised if this Dentist "ups the price" after making an agreed price. Price was: 1,500 for one tooth to be removed!? I have BLOOD CANCER and had a tooth that was leaking bacteria into my bloodstream which was making my situation worse and caused my immune system to be very low. So, I went to Dr Vadgama, who is the dentist at Woodberry.

I then had a consultation for 120 and an xray. We also agreed on a price of 299 for a full jaw scan - even though I just wanted one tooth taken out? A price was also agreed of 250 to extract the infected tooth. However, Dr Vadjama decided to "up the price" of the tooth extraction to 1,100 of which I refused. In total I was charged nearly 700 and if I had of paid the 1,100 for the extraction, then that would have been over 1,500 for one tooth removal.

I did ask Dr Vadjama for a refund so I could go to another dentist and have the tooth extracted - he refused. So paid approx 700 for nothing. I went back to my doctors and three months later (with the bad tooth still leaking infection into my blood) a scan was taken at my local hospital and *Four* teeth were found to be infected - and removed. Therefore, I was subsequently left for 3 months with badly infected teeth leaking into my bloodstream, which was life threatening and I could have died.

I am now in the process of writing to the British Dental Association with a serious complaint against Dr Vadjama. I am an active contributor on Google and I always give a genuine opinion to help others in their decisions when looking for information. Please also see my other genuine contributions on here.

As someone who has always been anxious and fearful of a visit to the dentist, Woodbury Dental has managed to allay those fears. My wife and I have been patients for over 7 years and even after moving away from the area we choose to return. It is a very professionally run clinic with all the latest technology, and I have always found all the staff very welcoming and supportive. Jaimini Vadgama is simply quite wonderful, she possesses the most calming and reassuring manner and you really feel how much cares about providing the best dental treatment.

I could not recommend a better experience than with Jaimini and the entire staff at Woodbury Clinic from the first phone call to extensive work. I was extremely apprehensive, looked high and low to find current high tech capabilities for my needs and am more than pleased to say Woodbury Clinic is state of the art fantastic - providing painless, caring and exceptionally diligent work. What a relief to have utter trust and confidence in such a talented dentist and dental practice. Five stars aren't enough for how I feel. Many thanks!

I have always been anxious at the dentist due to having bad experiences throughout my childhood with NHS dentists, this still haunts me when the check up letter arrives! but i have been with Woodbury dental for over 20 years now and can honestly say that every checkup/clean, treatment has been pain free. VJ and Jaimini are so professional and reassuring, they talk you through every step and always asks if your ok.

I have had to have treatment recently, a crown! which again i was so anxious but the whole treatment was amazing, pain free and i actually saw it being made. great technology.

I moved to Tenterden about 2 years ago and a friend recommended Jaimini at the Woodbury Dental Clinic. Jaimini has replaced most of my old amalgam fillings, replaced a crown and done a root canal procedure. I did not feel a thing and I am so pleased with the result. I have been to Woodbury Clinic for many years also my wife has been for quite a lot of treatment. The treatment has always been first class the Practice has always kept up with the latest Dentistry practices and a great asset to the town of Tenterden and would recommend to anyone who requires any implant surgery.

I had a number of major dental problems when I first came to this dental practice three years ago. I have had dental implants, crown replacements and root canal procedures using the most up to date techniques and high tech equipment. I have outstanding care from both Jaimini and Dr Vadgama and would highly recommend this practice.

VJ has been my dentist for almost 30 years. During all those years, I have no recollection of ever experiencing any pain in the surgery! VJ is caring, friendly and inspires confidence; he always has the most up-to-date techniques and equipment, but I have never known him to suggest any unnecessary treatment. In recent years he has been joined by Jaimini, who is continuing VJ's high standards. I have total confidence in both of them, and would recommend the clinic without hesitation.

As a teenager, every visit to the dentist seemed to involve pain, drilling and filling. The warm and caring approach, together with the consummate skill, knowledge and experience of Dr Vadgama set me on the road to recovery. He has changed my life. I now have twelve fully restored back teeth with not a filling in sight.

I can eat food which is very hot or very cold without flinching and I now treasure each tooth as a friends to be looked after! The cost of private fees was, frankly, quite a shock initially but I reviewed my priorities accordingly. I had the chance to remedy my teenage carelessness, thus enhancing the quality of life in retirement. The true value of my decision to go ahead with the treatment plan gives me joy, every day, every meal. Thank you Dr Vadgama. You are just brilliant.
