Dental Health Centre Grantham

I went to this practice with a very small chip on the inside corner of my top right front tooth. I now wish I had just lived with it. The dentist gave me anaesthetic (unnecessary) and needlessly ground away a large amount of perfectly healthy tooth structure, exposing the inner dentin of the tooth which is harder to bond to than the outer enamel. I didn't question this at the time as I assumed I was in the hands of a professional.

All that was needed was to etch the surface and apply composite (filler material). He left a score line on the back along which it broke shortly after. When I returned to the practice the same dentist replaced the missing composite (under anaesthetic again) and left a large amount of it in between the front teeth which I asked him to remove. This took a suspiciously long time and I saw him applying more composite.

I was then presented with the image I have attached. He had accidentally ground away part of the adjacent tooth and filled in the original tooth to occupy it's space. He denied doing this as if I'm too stupid to know what my own teeth looked like. Similarly, the practice deny he ever worked there. I asked his assistant who said he's not qualified to answer that question.

The dentists name was Dr Vasa and his assistant was one Neil Bookhouse/Brookhouse. I'm sure someone will recognise these names and see that I'm telling the truth. What should have been a simple, non-destructive restoration that would have lasted a long time has now left me with a problem that is very hard to reliably fix. The previously untouched tooth now has more material missing than the tooth that was originally chipped.

So spare yourself a lifetime of nightmares, expensive and worrying dental procedures, having to eat (and do everything) extremely carefully and choose a more reputable dental practice as these people take no responsibility for their actions. No admission, apology or refund.

Fantastic experience! Extremely happy with the outcome of my Invisalign and the staff went above and beyond to arrange appointments around my work, for which I am truly grateful. Would strongly recommend this dental practice!

This place is fantastic. When I first started going, I had a massive fear of the dentist - resulting in me needing some extensive work. From the offset they make you feel relaxed and at home, every receptionist, hygienist and dentist is absolutely lovely! I've had 5 silver fillings out and replaced with white ones, a crown and most recently (by the lovely Colin) a dental implant.

Every visit with Simon and Colin grew my confidence!, and it's safe to say i walked out of there with a big (and drastically improved) smile! I'm over the moon with everything they have done, and how they all as a team have made me overcome my fear of the dentist entirely! 10/10

As a previously nervous patient i am always impressed by the warm welcome and efficiency of this practice. My dentist takes time to explain everything he is doing and 'encourages' better dental care without berating. I'm so glad that i'm finally getting my teeth sorted after far too long!

A great dental clinic with really friendly staff. Dentist visits do not bother me at all, but if someone is a little nervous I would recommend going to Simon. Always good for a chat and will put you at ease.

Having just completed my first 6 months of Invisalign treatment to straighten my crossed and protruding teeth I just had to say how delighted I am with the outcome. I have been a patient with Dr. Colin Sutton for approximately two years during which I have had 3 implants to replace 4 lost teeth, 4 crowns to preserve and improve other teeth and now the Invisalign system which has transformed my smile.

I have also had my teeth whitened and I feel and look a different person. I feel years younger and have my self confidence back. I want to keep smiling and say to everyone "check me out" and they do! Neighbour's and friends have followed my progress with great interest. I can honestly say that I have never felt in better shape and in better hands.

The care and professionalism of all the staff at this practice is so reassuring and the best part is there is no pain. All of the procedures are comfortable and manageable and no one need ever fear visiting this dentist whatever their problems are. I will say though that Invisalign treatment is not a quick fix for those in my age group (73) and commitment to the procedure is needed to get the best out of it but once a routine is established, it is easily manageable.

If my circumstances had been different 20 years ago I might never have needed this practice but I am so glad I found it when I did rather than leave things as they were and face the prospect of dentures later in life. My best advice is "don't hesitate" - if you are thinking of making changes then give yourself a boost and see Colin Sutton. I promise you wont regret it.

Recently finished implant treatment to replace a missing molar that I couldn't get used to living without. Whole process was well explained and excellently performed by Mr Sutton. Delighted with the outcome so far and it's just like having my original tooth back, I feel complete again and so glad I had it done.

Myself and my children are well cared for. They always put us at ease, especially if there are any procedures to be carried out. They explain everything clearly and after care is 100%. A great dental clinic. Very lucky.

After being told I could have a root canal or have the tooth extracted a few weeks ago, I decided to proceed with removing the tooth and was fearing the worst as I am not a particular fan of needles! however Simon Reeves and his assistant was fantastic and really put me at ease during the treatment and I would recommend him to anyone rather than putting it off!

Just started treatment for crowns and a bridge. Mr Sutton gives you confidence that the end result will be good. I have several temporary teeth at front which I have to keep in for 3 or 4 months until my gum heals. Even these look good though I was worried they would be awful. Not looking forward to a 4 hour appointment to fix crowns but I am sure Mr Sutton will make me as comfortable as possible.

Far too early in the process to be absolutely sure, but so far I am really impressed. I came considering implants, and had the most thorough review ever, and all the time I wanted to talk about it and ask questions. Despite being a very nervous patient, I've decided to go ahead as a result.

Very good. My first time returning to the practice since the initial lockdown. Diane cleaned my teeth - friendly efficient service and a further appointment was made for next week to continue the necessary remedial work. I also had a check up and x rays to make sure all was well.

Always take the care and give a friendly personal service. Well done!

Furious with the service at this dentist. On the four occasions I have been Mr Sutton has been patronising and condescending whilst charging a lot of money for the pleasure. He has repeatedly distressed my son and I would rather take a day off work and drive somewhere miles away than go and be treated appallingly by Mr Sutton again.

This is on behalf of my husband. He would recommend this practice to anyone. First class service from reception to dentist every time he goes. He never feels the slightest anxiety no matter how complex the treatment.

A good experience, thorough explanation of procedures with no intimidation to go ahead until completely happy to do so

Absolutely amazing. 10/10! Kelly made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Now dentists are terrifying but I was perfectly fine. She always asks to make sure you're ok. And just all in all makes you feel in safe hands. Nice to have a little laugh to take your mind off it also and that is just what Kelly did. Highly recommended dental health centre Grantham! I have seen 2 dentists here and i am so impressed! Best dentist i have ever been to. Kelly was so re-assuring, professional, and made the whole Experience pleasant, as i was booked for an emergency. The dentist was so calming, i felt so at ease. Plus the staff at reception, The dental nurses all extremely kind and friendly. Mr sutton, the other Dentist i saw a while ago, equally as impressive. I actually dont mind going to the dentist now, they are just so professional. And everywhere is beautifully clean too.

I have been a victim of poor dental and petrified to going to dentist after many bad experiences. Dr Simon Reeves has made me feel at ease, even when I am being a big baby! I have a fair bit of repairs that needs doing and I've just had my first crown done. I was petrified getting it done but my goodness was it simple and fascinating. As you can see from the image, miricles do happen.
