Teeth that require the root canal (Endodontic) treatment we provide can be a source of dental pain. Rest assured we will do all we can to resolve this for you as quickly as possible. Endodontics is the aspect of dentistry concerned with the treatment of the pulpal tissue at the centre of a tooth.
Services
Endodontic or root canal treatment is a means of saving a tooth that has been damaged by infection or deep decay. The purpose of the treatment is to restore the tooth to good health so that it can function properly inside your mouth. Inside every tooth is a pulp chamber and root canals that contain a living tissue called the pulp.
As such we do not have our own group of patients. All our patients are referred to us by local colleagues and then return to them to complete treatments or maintain their care. Over the last 18 years we have seen more than 16,000 patients referred by hundreds of colleagues from all over East Anglia.
We give all of our patients a written report and estimate of fees before starting treatment. We do not make any additional charge for X-rays or for placing temporary crowns or fillings where these are needed. Our fees include a final filling in the tooth which will securely seal the root canals. In rare instances, particularly complicated cases may require additional time and an extra charge. The likelihood of this will be discussed with you during your consultation visit and alternatives presented where appropriate.

I recently attended Charing Cross dental practice for some root canal work, having been referred by my usual dentist. The practice is easy to find and parking nearby is simple. The practice itself is run very professionally with clear emails and follow ups where necessary. The quality and nature of work undertaken by Jonathan is very complex and conducted in a very professional and clear manner, with excellent results, and all pain free! Highly recommended.

I've used CC Practice twice in the last 10 years, once for a direct tooth implant and now recently for root canal treatment. Both were excellently handled and carried out. My dentist referred me to Jonathan Hatton for a root canal failure twice in last 3 years. Excellent treatments and explanations both time. First time I had ear and jaw ache because of the root canal failure. Soon as the root canal was re-done all the aches snd pains were gone. Second time on a different tooth I had jaw pain as well as head ache and shoulder pain.
My dentist referred me to Jonathan again thinking it could be another root canal failure. But after all the checks and tests Jonathan explained to me that it wasn't the root canal which was causing the pain. It was a muscle tension because of my grinding habit. Very pleased with the treatments both time

I attended in fear of Root canal work. Barbara talked with me and within 10 minutes diagnosed that I had actually cracked the tooth in half and that far from needing root canal I actually needed extraction. She is an absolutely SUPERB Endodontist and I recommend her thoroughly without exception. She is truly FANTASTIC. Don't delay see her as soon as you can!

I was referred to this practice by my own dentist for re root canal treatment which was tricky so needed specialist treatment. I was rung very quickly and had a consultation with Jonathan Hatton, who was amazingly caring and explained everything in detail to me really putting my mind at rest. On the day of my treatment Jonathan Hatton kept me calm and totally painfree, my tooth didn't even have the slightest soreness after treatment. My experience here was totally amazing and I'd recommend Jonathan to anyone needing specialist treatment.
