Covering all aspects of dental care from routine through to complex dental needs in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I love my work and it excites me how U Dentistry has grown and continues to do so since opening in 2005. I am immensely proud of the practice, the team and the work that we do. Delivering complex, specialist care is made so much easier in the calm, relaxing environment of U Dentistry.

Helen qualified at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2000 after which she undertook training with The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. Helen accepted a position at Leeds Dental Institute in 2003 where she immediately developed a passion for oral surgery and worked as an oral and maxillofacial surgery house officer.
Jill's dentistry career started in 1991 when she worked as a dental nurse and dental receptionist at a busy family dental practice in Lancashire. During her time at this practice she was awarded qualifications by The National Examining Board for Dental Nurses and The Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists.
Essentially dental implants are an anchor, usually made of titanium which are inserted in a minor surgical procedure into the jaw bone. Once in place the patients bone effectively knits with the implant surface creating a very strong attachment, a process termed osseointegration. Implants act as anchors and can be used in a variety of ways from supporting a single tooth through to supporting a larger number of teeth as implant retained bridges.
We believe that teeth need to look like teeth so any work that we do needs to blend in. All of our routine dental treatments aspire to achieve this using tried and tested high quality materials in the way that they should be used. Crowns are sometimes referred to as 'caps', they permanently cover your natural tooth with effectively a false tooth.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish, from the reception desk to the dentist's chair. I saw Dr Alyn Morgan for a retreatment of a failed root canal treatment done elsewhere. He has a great deal of technical skill and even a general dentist friend of mine was impressed when I told him how he sorted the tooth out. No hidden fees for treating a complex tooth or extra canals as you'll find elsewhere.
I'm very grateful that the tooth has been saved and for the polite and professional service. I would have no issues recommending Dr Morgan to any of my friends or family. Thanks!

Fantastic service! Very professional and worth the price. Alyn Morgan is an absolute marvel. I'd recommend him to anyone who's had issues regarding root canals/crown issues. I had a severe issue with a large lump on my gum above a root canal/crown going back 7 years. Alyn was brilliant and managed to clean my root canal and stop the infection. His attitude, professionalism and speed was excellent and I would not hesitate to go back here again. Literally whoever is reading this, visit this practice as it's the best I have ever been to.

Alyn Morgan's bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. He did not listen to my concerns and was bereft of empathy. Instead he displayed a disconcerting level of partisanship, echoing an incorrect diagnosis from my previous dental practice for whom he used to work. I have since been correctly diagnosed by Dr Chan at SDC, Ilkley, and am all the better for it. Jill, the practice manager is a wonderful asset to UDentistry, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Mr Morgan.
